Polar Stratospheric Cloud and Stratospheric Aerosol Unification
The Polar Stratospheric Cloud (PSC) and Stratospheric Aerosol Unification
project is an effort to create a long term database of PSC observations
from 1978 to 1999 using measurements from four solar occulatation satellite
instruments. The satellite instruments used in this project are the
Stratospheric Aerosol Measurement II (SAM II), the Stratospheric Aerosol and
Gas Experiment II (SAGE II), the Polar Ozone Aerosol Measurement II
(POAM II), and the Polar Ozone Aerosol Measurement III
(POAM III).
