SAR Research Analyst

Position open to develop image processing methods for application to synthetic aperture radar (SAR).  Research areas include, but are not limited to unsupervised terrain classification, scattering signature modeling, radar polarimetry, polarimetric scattering decomposition, azimuth slope correction of polarimetric signatures, and SAR interferometry.

Requirements: MS/Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, mathematics, or electrical engineering; knowledge of complex-valued functional analysis, electromagnetic scattering theory, one or more standard programming languages (C/C++ and FORTRAN preferred), and one or more higher-level languages (IDL preferred). Work location: Washington, DC.
