Navy Seaport Enhanced Multiple-Award Contract Vehicle (SeaPort-e) - Awarded in November, 2013
The U.S. Navy has selected Computational Physics, Inc. to provide research and development, modeling and simulation, software engineering, and program support services under the Seaport Enhanced multiple-award contract vehicle. SeaPort-e is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. It is used by the Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The term of CPI's indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award from the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command Warfare Center is five years. NRL Algorithm Development & Data Analysis for Remote Sensing
CPI has a contract with the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to support the development and application of new and existing techniques for remote sensing (including astronomy) in the Remote Sensing Division. The scope of work includes supporting concept design and feasibility studies; assembly and testing of components or equipment laboratory, in-field or in-flight (in-air or in-space) calibration, validation, and operation of deployed systems, analysis of engineering and scientific data; and the development and use of algorithms for analyzing the data. NRL Science, Software, and Engineering Support for Space- and Ground-Based Optical Experiments
CPI has a contract with the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to provide research and support in the areas of upper air physics, astronomy, and remote geo-sensing in the Space Sciences Division. The scope of work includes providing research and development in the areas of satellite instrumentation, data analysis, remote sensing methods, first-principles modeling of atmospheric processes, signal propagation, as well as to support calibration/validation activities and missile defense modeling-and-simulation systems development. NOAA Scientific and Technical Support Services ("Sci-Tech 2") – Awarded in October 2010
CPI is a member of a team of companies that received an award for this 60 month, $550 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract that covers a wide spectrum of objectives related to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) mission. NRL Systems Development, Support, and Integration ("SDSI") - Awarded in September 2012
CPI is a member of the Assurance Technology Corporation (ATC) team that received four task awards on the Naval Research Laboratory SDSI contract: 1) Optical and RF Payloads, 2) C4ISR Systems Design and Development, 3) Software Definable/Reconfigurable Systems Design, and 4) Operational Space Weather and RF Ground Terminal Systems Design and Development. SDSI is a 2-year, $16 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract that provides support to the Space Systems Development Department (SSDD) at the Naval Center for Space Technology (NCST) in Washington, DC.
